On the button

Never listen to anyone who rubbishes Fiats.  Though she has given us the odd problem down the years (the last one through an under bonnet soaking that was no fault of her own) our little Fiat Panda, now 9 years young, always starts on the button.  And so it was today after two months of sitting in the driveway. Dentist today, then accountant, then a quick visit to see Matt and Val.  Reunion with the grandkids will have to wait until Friday.  I do find driving a left hand drive car on right hand drive roads tricky.  I never have a problem the other way around; in France I can drive either car, left hand or right hand drive, without any problem.  But left hand drive over here seems counter-intuitive.  Just as well that we are repatriating the Fiat back to France in the autumn.
