Boing

This is an apparently hilarious game where you throw the ball at the fireguard and if you're lucky it bounces off just the right bit and makes a really good Boing noise :)

Decided we needed to get out today but still feeling a bit awkward about playgroups so cycled into town to return a broken tent to John Lewis (a play tent aimed at age 2+ shouldn't snap in 2 places in the space of two days) - and made good use of both my free coffee and cake voucher (Matthew enjoyed hus blueberry muffin) and all four flights of magic stairs and the lift!

Bit too hot cycling back to Shelford but we sat in the shade in the rec and shared a solero and some strawberries before heading home for lunch. We failed at nap today but had a nice afternoon in the house and then with the hose in the garden and only a couple of big meltdowns at bedtime.

I think perhaps tomorrow I shall declare us safe and go see more people somewhere. Preferably somewhere cool!
