Too Hot to Work (again)

It was too hot to work but I had no choice. 33 degrees C when driving home at 5:30 pm. At least The new Dyson fan arrived today - Harriet had unpacked and tested it by the time I got home. 

The thunder is rumbling and there has been flashes of lightning for the past hour (see additional photo) yet there's only been the odd spot of rain. Other parts of Halifax have not been so lucky - Facebook friends have reported hailstones the size of gobstoppers and damage to car roofs.
