It's Back !

A historic and listed tram shelter has been returned and rebuilt in time for the Tour de France and world class riders will be racing past just feet away on Sunday afternoon.

The shelter was dismantled several months ago after its timber walls and slate roof were found to be in a very poor condition.The shelter dates back to 1896.


It's been repainted in the old Huddersfield Corporation colours of vermilion and cream.
