Water Lily

A visit to the botanic gardens in St Andrews this afternoon ... we were not alone .... two coaches of young school children were having great fun following the Gruffalo trail.  L and I were more interested in the pond and whether or not the water lilies were in bloom.  We were in luck but I wish they grew nearer the edge and faced the way I wanted them to ... not too easy to get close without being up to your knees in water!
