Red

My son set the camera for me so I could get a decent shot of this red rose and avoid the red overblown glare. We were out for a walk together this evening and he pointed it out to me because of the sunlight shining on it. Each time I took the shot the sun went in, so I gave up!

I had a friend round today and we had a good day together. I watched some Wimbledon on the iPad while watching something else on the television at the same time as she is definitely not a tennis fan!

We heard a few rumbles of thunder this afternoon, but no storms anywhere near us. We seem to be getting off lightly here - so far! Definitely not as hot today and cloudy for a lot of the day.
