Leavers Assembly

I swanned off out of work at lunchtime to go to Betty's Leavers Assembly. It was sweltering in the school hall, the kids all did so well considering it was hot and boring.
I feel I've done a fair bit if swanking about my girls recently but Betty was awarded the Sinclair Cup today in recognition of her efforts at cross curricular work. I was so pleased for her as it was totally unexpected- for her and us! Me and Floss were speaking about it and the efforts she has put into her project work and how much she has enjoyed it. Her homework never really challenges her but with topics she puts a lot of time and creativity into tasks. So I felt this award was well deserved and once again I was bursting with pride! She also got a certificate for her work at Play Leaders.
