The New Bed

This is how the back bed is looking now, having been completely pulled out, ground elder sprayed, membrane and wood chips on top.
The roses are doing well ( we left them in) but I am missing some of the other plants!
However, the ground elder has not got through the membrane, I don't wince every time I go outside, and the pots look cheerful and can be changed according to the season!
Much, much cooler today, with rain showers.
