Effected or Affected?

I have been using my phone camera for a few days, but today I thought I had better not be lazy and get the camera out! 
Every time I take a photo, the camera asks me if I would like some "Effects". Having refused this invitation for months,  today I thought I would accept gracefully  - and I was spoilt for choice! 
So here is one of the "Effects" on my roses.
