Sky high ...

Definitely got to try out the hiking boots today .... hiked from the base to the summit of a ski resort, then along the ridge to a neighbouring ski resort. Then ascended Vermont's 2nd highest peak, then traversed down to the base. Some almost vertical rock scrambles and lots of steep, muddy tracks. About 14kms in total. Pretty cool to walk down several ski runs in the middle of summer, knee deep in green grass and flowers.

We then spent the afternoon exploring one of the gorgeous lakes in a kayak. Think I will sleep well tonight.
