Dog days ...

Back up a mountain today for a half day hike, followed by a trip down the river in kayaks. This is our guide John with his well balanced dog, Aeolus.

The beagle was very happy to spend the entire time perched on the front of the kayak, only jumping off when he thought he could smell something tasty, possibly a duck, on the shoreline.
