Pheasant

Every time I drive the back road between Finlaystone estate and Langbank it is like some sort of nature reserve with assorted animals on the road. One of my friends had a nasty collision with a sheep here while out on her bike, but that's another story.

Today there were two calves standing at the side of the road calmly watching me pass by, several groups of rabbits darting in front of me or across me at various points and this guy. He was very calm; meandered in front of the car to cross the road then pottered about in the field for a while unperturbed by me inching the car ever closer.
