Reminder

A few years ago we were leaving the pretty Cotswold cottage of dear friends after spending a happy weekend with them. Hollyhocks grew alongside the cottage in a crack between wall and drive. Our host gave me a handful of seeds to bring home and every year since, I have had one or two plants. They are not as prolific in my flower bed as they were in Paul's drive, but each year they remind me of that pretty cottage, left behind a few years ago by our friends who have moved to a larger, but equally charming property.
