Another Languedoc year...

Back home

We've been back from our hols for a few days but we had so much catching up to do that I haven't had time to blip.

There's been a surge of growth in the garden thanks to rain and warm weather. I'd intended removing the virginia creeper from our first floor kitchen window. However I spotted this collared dove nest complete with two very newly hatched babies. The parents are very attentive, teetering on the window rail iby turns.

Luckily Ali's mezzanine office gives us a perfect view of the nest. If only I'd cleaned the windows.

I may do a bit of back-blipping when I have a moment.
