A hot summer's day. 

The preparations for the weekend continue. It's all coming along well. 

But everything we do is coloured by the local tragedy which took place this week. Three people drowned on Tuesday just off the Beacon, a short way from here. One body has not yet been found and all day yesterday and today the helicopters could be heard going up and down along the craggy coastline, searching. Unsuccessfully so far ....
