Silverstone - Grand Prix Weekend

M and I went to the F1 practice day at Silverstone today, the first day of the three day weekend event.  The great thing about Friday is that you have the freedom to choose which stand to sit in, so we started off in the stand opposite the National Pit Straight, which is where two of these photos were taken.  The extra photo (of Lewis Hamilton) was taken from Copse B.
How lovely to have a day warm enough to not need to wear a fleece, there is usually a keen wind blowing across the site and it can become quite chilly sitting watching the action.
