Big Cats

What a gorgeous day in Boston!  Blue, blue sky with no clouds to be seen, and nice warm temperatures with a cooling breeze.  The perfect day for a trip to the zoo!

We walked over every square inch of the Franklin Zoo, and saw so many different animals and birds, we felt like we'd been on safari!  Here you can see three big cats.  One of them is very unusual and rare -- the elusive Jack-cat.  It's habitat is mainly in Florida, but at times it can extend its range to Connecticut and Massachusetts.  Its primary diet is hamburgers and french fries, although it has been known to eat lasagna and even the odd turkey sandwich.
