It is Friday

Thursday night and of course its Burgundy night!  On the left is Freddie Garner who leads this group and always a delightful character to paint.  The way his fingers move over the keyboard just mesmerises me!  And to his right, a painted and a pencil sketch of his bass player, Brian Jackson.  I thought I had worked out his normal position and then he looked the other way!!  Ed Kainyek fronted with his awesome saxes and Phil Bennett on drums.
A great night and I won the last prize in the raffle - my favourites - liqourice allsorts! 
A bit of bad news - a guy that I meet there most Thursday nights has cancer - bugger!!
