Tyred out....

Another busy day. The shearers here again doing more Blackies. I spent most of the morning and after lunch chucking more tyres about again. The second silage pit wasn't as well compacted ,and was starting to heat up a bit so a priority to get it sheeted. Once that was done,had to go and help roll up and pack wool. The last sheep of the year was done by 4.30pm,so brought the lads round some cold beers.
The hill shepherd's house was suffering from lack of water tonight as the well running low. Not low enough though,as my phone fell out the boiler suit pocket and straight to the bottom. I had to climb in to get it back,and it was very refreshing up to my waist ! Had to get Charlie to grab my collar and help haul me back out. Needless to say Mrs Farmerboab wasn't for letting me in the house ! Phone now sitting in a tub of rice,but the fact that the screen is half full of water doesn't look promising.
