Today's the day ......................... to take a dip

To celebrate Melanie's thirtieth birthday next week, us girls went for a day of pampering at the local health spa.

And very nice it was too, to lie there and be massaged with soothing oils and other potions.  We could also use the steam room and swim in the pool - and in between, there was prosecco to drink and food to nibble. 

And Dominic joined us for his first swim in the afternoon which was a highlight.  He wasn't quite sure what to make of suddenly being immersed in (for him) quite cold water, but as long as he was somewhere near his Mum, he seemed quite happy to go along with it ............................!
