Today's the day ......................... to get on your bike

It's that time of year again.

We got completely hooked watching the Tour de France cycle race last year - mainly because it started off in Yorkshire along roads that we knew well.  This year the start has been along the flat roads of Holland and so it's been a completely different race so far.  The Stage today went the 166km route from Utrecht to Zeeland and most of it was in high winds and driving rain.  This is the winner - Andre Greipel - crossing the finishing line with Mark Cavendish in 4th place.

We know slightly more this year about race tactics and how the ones that cross the finish line first, don't actually win in the end?!  We're still going to need a lot guidance, but we're looking forward to following the Tour 2015 with lots of enthusiasm ............................
