I gave myself a quiet day today.

The weather co-operated. The rain poured down until early afternoon.

By late afternoon it was sunny and beautiful again. I resisted the urge to get the gardening clothes on. Mañana.       

One of the courgette plants in the greenhouse is flowering and fruiting. I've made courgette flower risotto before, so it was time to find a recipe.

Delicious. Verdicchio (£5 in Lidl) is ideal to use in the risotto, to drink while cooking (it has to be stirred for 20-25 minutes) and to drink with it.

The Blip is the intermediate stage. The extra shots show the beginning and the end.
