Quarry Tree
Took a walk to the biggest quarry in these parts, Arklow Rock. Once a sizeable hill of rock it has now been excavated almost to extinction for the production of many things. Most notable of these would be hard core aggregate for the many motorways and new main roads which have been built in recent years. At the bottom of the quarry a huge pool, almost a lake has formed and this single tree still clings on although probably for not much longer.
