Soaring Upward
Despite having been out and about in the countryside today and also despite having come home with a few nice photos, I plumped in the end for this shot of the latest Irish supply spacecraft to the International Space Station. You will notice the green exhaust trail as befits an Irish probe. Unlike the recent Russian craft and a couple of American ones this one neither exploded nor re-entered tumbling and out of control. I am reliably informed that it is carrying supplies of Guinness but this has yet to be confirmed.
As you have probably guessed this was shot in our own back garden where the secret launch pad is carefully hidden under the strawberry plants.
