Determination

Goodness me, do my arms hurt today... It was my elbow joints yesterday. But after my third PT session in three days first thing this morning, it's most of the muscles in my arms and I can hardly lift them above my head!! Ouch!!

After a night punctuated by some serious thunder and lightning, though very little actual rain, I felt proud of myself at 8.45am finding myself with two other ladies for today's PT session. It was hard but fun and the instructor was hugely supportive and motivating as he has been over the last two days. I'm very impressed with them and the set up as a whole. One of the ladies I met today has been coming for 18 months and lost 3.5 stone, is in great shape and is older then me. Something tells me I can do something similar. I do hope I've found the right regime for me.

I was back home by 10am feeling awesome, pottered and watered the tomatoes. It was another beautiful day at about 26C and all my washing is drying really well outside, which I love. I took a call from Ch which was nice. She's going to buy our Duran Duran tickets for December. How exciting. We're both a bit worried about B at present so we're going to try to persuade her to come up and visit us soon.

I went over to C's and spent lots of time with the bubbles, especially Teddy while S strimmed and C painted her bedroom. She liked the new clothes I'd brought and I can't wait to see Tilly in her new short romper suits in this glorious weather. We bathed both kiddies together and it was such a joy to see them splashing each other and having hysterics at each other. It's an image I will remember for a long time. Too cute.

We had a delicious meal prepared by S of barbecued lamb koftas and delicious salads with home made tortillas. S has a job interview with BP next week, which is great news. C had a good first week back at work so all's well.

I came home about 10pm with Duran Duran on the car stereo and the windows wide open to take in the cool evening air. Another great day.
