summer verge
Late up after a v late night. Brunch (still full from dinner last night) and walked down to the farmers market in Schull and treated us to some anchovy stuffed olives and feta ( not exactly a local delicacy, but yummy all the same). The sun was shining, people were smiling and a few exhausted Triathlon visitors were still around and upright! Stopped for a chat and a Guinness in the sunshine at Hacketts with Tim, who grows and sells some of the best organic veg in the area then walked home past this lovely wild flower verge.
Mike and Yola have been working on her Maths for tomorrows exam, but are having a break and getting very frustrated with Ireland v Croatia game. The result is not not a very positive 1-3 at the moment. More chocolate cake is required to soften their disappointment I think.
