Shocking!

Well, it's shocking that I got a picture of fireworks.  My first one ever, for better or worse.  I wasn't going to attempt it, but around 10:00 it started to sound like a war zone around my neighborhood, so I figured there was no point ignoring it.  This picture was taken about 20 feet from my front door, which makes it even more shocking that I got it.  The City of Bellingham puts on a fair show for July 4, much better viewed from  the park down the hill by Bellingham Bay, but I think half the State of Washington was down there this evening so I chickened out and stayed home. I really was quite surprised that I could see the fireworks from my house but I think I just happened out the door at the right moment.
