Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Spontaneous

Went to see Aged P. who was dreadfully tired; slept for 95% of my visit. Even fell asleep reading the newspaper. On the plus side they had a TV programme on in the home showing old Grand Prix races, with in-depth analysis from someone called Murray Walker who was to F1 what John Motson was to football. I think. Anyway I learned a lot about pit stops and wet weather tyres and ... other stuff I shall not retain.

The train was coming through Herne HIll when I saw a forest of tents below and spontaneously jumped off, which worked out very well; the Sunday Market there is like a mini Borough Market and I got five loaves of bread, some cheese, and two veggie Scotch eggs.

Did a lot of hedge trimming and lawn mowing when I got back. Suburban man does not have an easy time of it you know. These jobs don't do themselves.

Knackered now. Been a funny and sombre weekend. But it's okay.
