Snowy's Gate

A day out in Hebden Bridge, lovely pot luck lunch (everyone brings something to share) then wandered up to Hardcastle Crags via Midgehole, following the course of Hebden Water. It was warm and sunny on the way there, but when we got to Midgehole Working Men's Club, aka the Blue Pig, it started to rain and as afew people including the kids hadn't thought they needed their waterproofs, we decided to turn back early. This was taken approaching the river, when you access a path across a field through Snowy's Gate, which is a memorial to a local Jack Russell.
