Rushup Edge
This morning we headed over to Mam Tor - a steep but short climb up to the top for some lovely views over the surrounding valleys.
Then we walked back to the road and followed the path up to the top of Rushup Edge. It was a popular day for the paragliders - there were approximately 30 of them paragliding off the edge of the ridge. (A couple of shots in extras). We spent the majority of the day here. It was a beautiful day again - just in t-shirts on top of the ridge, however, at the end of the day as we were walking back to the car, the darkening skies managed to catch up with us and we got a bit of a soaking!
This shot was taken from the top of Rushup Edge looking down into the valley. I rather liked this farm house that was highlighted by the sun. A wider view of the valley can be seen in extras, along with a few other shots of the day.
Finished the day with a delicious meal at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn, just a minutes stroll from our apartment.
