'Five on the Fifth'

We drove to Southampton this morning to spend the day with Kelly and family and celebrate Grandson Will's fifth birthday.

A long journey, as the Race for Life was going on so the road into Southampton had been diverted...lucky sat nav got us (a little late) to 'Jungle Jeans' a great children's activity gym. Lots of Will's little friends there...all having fun. A little lunch was provided for them..then it was time to go back to Chandlers Ford for pressies and cards. Friends joined us...we had a fabulous BBQ. Kelly had made a fantastic 'Minions' cake for Will.....here he is blowing out the 'magic' candles...they go out then relight!. He was mystified. The cake had been cut at the morning party...I wanted to put on the actual cake as an extra...but it didn't work out.

Drove home tonight..dropping S off at Lewes and getting home just after ten. A long day but a great day to see the family.
