Welcome to Berlin!

After days of dithering about what to pack and what to leave at home, I drove down to London and headed off to Gatwick with some friends to catch our flight to Berlin ..  and here we are in the arrivals queue!

It was SOOOOO hot and humid ...  

My host took me back to her very lovely flat ...  and I finally got to bed at about 1 am, after a very welcome cold shower!
