Pollen on His Nose

My first ever honeysuckle flower! Planted it last year, and didn't really expect flowers yet, but they've been appearing, and this morning, one had opened and smelt oh-so-wonderful.

Had to include the birthday boy, for whom I've just made a chocolate espresso cake - cut the recipe from some magazine years ago - totally easy and totally yum - lots of chocolate and no flour, just ground almonds.
