Martagon lily

And suddenly we came across a group of them in the forest by the lake. Wonderful. We have been looking around for them in this valley for some time. Seeing them again this year we were not disappointed.
We walked beside the lake of Silvaplana - a gentle stroll as our dog is not up to her usual walks. We ambled along as mountain bikers sped by and the lake became increasingly popular with sailors, windsurfers and kite surfers (see extra photo). There were horses too enjoying a paddle. Piper and I joined in.
