Esja

We dropped off our guests in Reykjavik today, and made our way North towards Akureyri where we are going to spend the week. Esja, the mountain that guards Reykjavik the same way Table Mountain guards Cape Town, looked magnificent with all the lupins and other flowers growing on it. Judging by the many cars parked at its base, I think lots of people took advantage of the good weather to climb it, or rather walk up it.
