motor bike

Spent a great deal of time fettling today.  I have a lovely steel-framed touring bicycle, but it needs a new engine - the human one that usually provides the forward motion is not much cop these days.

Found an electric motor on a well-known internet auction site and fitted it today.  (It’s the black drum-shaped thing).  Now it just needs a battery to provide the power.  Again the internet will provide.  I daresay there will be another blip when it’s finished.
