Success!

A Lego robot has successfully found Ted in the cave system and provides ginger beer and crisps to help sustain him while the rescue team dig towards him. I've caught this as someone else was taking a photo from the other side hence the flash. 

This is the final stage of a challenge which sees students learn about programming a robot to make decisions based on information received from the environment through a range of sensors. Today was day two and we had some spectacular successes including this "extension" activity which students can move to if they complete the core task of finding our poor lost Ted. Only half a day to work tomorrow so the robots and Ted rest and we're back at it on Wednesday.
