Hoverfly central

A rainy grey morning turning into a blustery sunny afternoon so I went for a wander with the camera. I had aimed to see if there were any dragonflies or damsels op by the woodland pond but nothing there. It was rather windy so they may have stayed home to watch Jeremy Kyle or Cash in the Attic. The hoverflies were out though so I tried to grab a shot showing one in flight and the flower-head not swaying violently in the breeze. Here is the result.

I've yet to make it to the bar this week, I keep falling asleep, but I plan to get there tonight and have a glass of beer to celebrate posting 1,500 blips.
