Idyllic

This delightful corner of a lake at Paultons leisure park on the edge of the New Forest is home to countless water birds - ducks and geese in particular.
Yet as a visitor to the leisure park you don't get to see the full glory of this tranquil corner of the lake which in effect is the front garden outlook for the residential part of the park known as the Walled Garden.
It's only a stone's throw from the main public entrance to the leisure park, yet today I felt it could be a different world. Both ducks and geese were basking in the sun on the grass on the banks of the lake. Nor did they seem unduly bothered by my presence as I stopped to take this picture.
They say there is something magical about living overlooking water - if that's true this corner near the River Blackwater is idyllic.
