... St. Bartholomew. If I'm walking to the office I normally go through Barbican, past Smithfield, across Faringdon to Fleet Street but today was particularly busy around Smithfield so I ducked down a backstreet and happened across London's oldest church, in continuous use since 1143.

It also happens to have a rather good Damien Hirst just inside the church; Exquisite Pain. Go and see it if you can.
