Off to scout camp with +1/3 for the weekend, to deepest, darkest Bedfordshire... and a lovely spot it was too: next to a river, close to a pub, nice camp ground and a lovely bunch of scouts. +1/3 has fallen on his feet with this troop. 

Interestingly, this troop go in for old skool camping: icelandic patrol tents, a kitchen tent complete with kitchen cube, camp table, pot stands, washing up bowl rests... you name it, if it can be made with some poles, pegs and twine, it's there.

To top it all off the weather was fantastic too.
