Park 'n Hide
Cruising around International Drive today in our hire vehicle. A bit bigger than the usual (as with many things over here) but with hellish uncomfortable seats. Plenty of leg room though.*
Ended up in an upside down house packed full of noisy rival gangs of tiny people, all rushing around various pseudo-science exhibits (including a head-scratching actual bed of nails that some of them were being made to lie on, despite some obvious discomfort. Mental.) and selfishly hogging all the stuff we actually wanted to play on. Wee buggers.
Nice lunch in a near deserted restaurant (Waitress' opening line: "Thank you for choosing us out of the 300 or so restaurants you could've picked around the area") before yet more shops full of shite that no-one really wants or needs. Even trying to get some football (American flavor) gear for Euan was impossible as all the big outlet stores have jumped on the 'soccer' band-wagon big-time during the Women's World Cup and the shelves are filled with that instead.
I'm pretty sure I'm done with malls/outlets now.
*Break from fighting the traffic today, jumped on the trolley bus to shuttle around instead. All the sunburn from yesterday catching up with everyone though and it was a case of parking-up and jumping from shady spot to shady spot until the bus arrived.
