Happy House Hunting
We spent all weekend looking for a new place to live. We decided on two cities which are completely on the opposite side of one another....Monrovia or Rancho Cucamonga. Yesterday we didn't have any luck at all but today was better. This image was in Monrovia. It felt right when I walked in.....lots of light, wood floor all thru out the place, nice kitchen and wood beam ceiling however the rooms were really small and my dining table wouldn't fit in the dining area. Oh and it was $75 over my budget. So we move on to the next.
My son, his girlfriend Alex and Ariah found a place (great news) so they'll be moving out in two weeks. I am so proud of them that while I helped them get on their feet they took care of business and followed thru. I already know I'm gonna have a hard time not being able to see Ariah everyday but it will pass. Anyways I'll have her over on some weekends for sleepovers and we can make breakfast together (she loves to help).
We had to drive thru a not so desirable area to get to Monrovia when I noticed the Corn man. OMG I was so excited! Its a treat for us because we don't have our own Corn man where we live. I asked for one with all the toppings (mayo, cheese, butter, lemon and chili powder) for us to share. I know its super fattening and asking for a heart attack to happen but we didn't care. Now that I think about it......it's probably a good thing we don't have our own corn man. The corn aka Elote was deeeeelicious!
Wishing everyone a good and productive week.
