Got a short-notice invite to head up to the T/P Tavern tonight for Adam and Robbie's twelve year wedding anniversary. Obviously, they brought cake. Amazing and rich and sweet and decadent and delicious chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. Holy shit: so good. My sweet friend Robbie gave me two pieces. I have a problem.

Before hand, though, made a nice homemade dinner of fresh pasta and salad with Leah and Kathryn. Michael and Mel just got back from Austin and we met up with them later at T/P, along with a bunch of other good friends and folks.

But I think we earned these beers and sweets tonight. Had a long day today finishing up our big (and delayed) spring cleaning project. Lots of organizing of old school files/documents, papers, and books. Our place looks great! We'll have to have you over for a cocktail soon, Sweet Viewer.

Should be getting my new flash tomorrow or the next day. I am shooting an event this coming weekend for a friend (but getting a spot of cash out of it, too), couple of hours of an indoor reunion--hope I am able to calibrate the new equipment in time and get some good results. Also a new photo show in the works with a planned unveiling in about two weeks--more on that to come.

How are my classes going, you ask? I'll get back to you on that one.
