A Spire Without a Church

This church-less spire must once have been attached to a church given that the area is called St. Andrews Gardens (city of Worcester). 

Anyway, I was supposed to have met a small group of over-40s to follow an hour-long riverside walk, culminating in a drink at a local 'tavern'.  Well I don't know Worcester all that well, but I thought I was in the right place for the 'take-off' but I completely missed them. I later found out that they had waited an extra 20 minutes for me. Feeling guilty!
