Sanctuary!

It started before we were out of bed.  OK we were late up this morning.  Our next door neighbours are having their house re- pebbledashed.  The workers were using some form of scabbler to remove the old mortar.  It continued without a break for most of the day.  At times they were working only about 4 or 5 feet away from my head as I sat at the computer trying to think.

By mid afternoon we had had enough.  Into the car with cameras, flask, crisps and our books.  We decided to head for Aira Force as it is a while since either of us blipped the main falls.  On arrival we were so delighted with the peace and quiet that we began with tea and crisps.

As it turned out we didn't really need the books as we took so long taking shots of the falls from various angles.  Since we were last there they have built a passing place/viewing space/camera point half way down the steps sticking out about a yard into thin air.
