Not so lonesome after all!!

After finding my one solitary poppy in the garden a couple of weeks ago, today I discovered a second one! So my first poppy wasn't so lonesome after all!! This one is more of a pinky colour, I do like these subtle, pastel colours...

My plan today had been to head into Bath and the Summer sales, but I didn't feel well enough or have the energy to make the trip. It wasn't warm enough to sit out in the garden, so instead I've been watching back-back Wimbledon matches.

But I did manage to book train tickets for a weekend visit to friends in August. They're throwing a big farewell party for their son who has won a fully-funded four year Athletic Scholarship, to study psychology at Lamar in Texas! The party's an American-themed fancy dress party so now I just have to think of a costume, lawks a lordy!! Or should that be yee haw?!!
