White Sands of Morar

This morning I got the train to Morar and spent a few hours walking round this wonderful coastline, which have a series of beautiful sandy beaches, that pepper the coastline from Arisaig to Morar.

The "White Sands of Morar" were featured in Local Hero, the fabulous film by Bill Forsyth.

I made my way back up to the Morar Hotel for lunch and watched a bit of the Andy Murray game before rain stopped play. In the afternoon I made my way back down to the beach as the light had improved.
