Parallel universe

Went into town today. A ferry pulled into the harbour. Trucks rolled off. Went to the supermarket. The shelves were full. Groceries were purchased with a plastic bank card. Exchanged significant "everything OK? - yes! everything OK!" greetings with the friendly owners. Went to the bank, which was open, the ATM was stocked with both 50€ & 20€ notes so was able to get the full 60€ out on each Greek bank card (could have got more using a non-Greek card but chose not to). Cafes were filled with people chatting happily and didn't see any news media people. Curious.
