Kinver Rock Houses.

In between the showers we visited a local beauty spot, Kinver Edge where we chanced upon The Kinver Rock Houses. They are caves which were used as dwellings from the 18th century to the 1950s when the last occupiers moved out and they fell into disrepair.

Subsequently they were taken over by the National Trust and were renovated to show life as it was in the 1930s.

The picture shows the Lower Rock Houses. There are more houses behind this rock, with access from the right hand side of the photo.
